Cork spray provides a flexible and durable insulation solution for a wide range of different buildings and structures. This is due to its extensive variety of possible applications, it’s also useable as a decorative material. In addition, the appearance is spectacular, unlike paint (cork prevents flaking caused by moisture) and cement render (cork prevents cracks) cork also offers thermal and sound insulation, it breathes and is water-repellent. Unlike the afore mentioned renders, cork requires very little to no extensive maintenance. Corks long lifespan will not cost you excessive amounts of money to repair or maintain despite being made entirely from natural ingredients.

iTube Developments are the foremost registered approved installers in South Wales offering incomparable service and installation.

Spray cork corrects all thermal shortcomings, such as thermal bridges that cause internal condensation, the stepping stone to the forming of mould/fungi, saltpetre etc. As a result the inside of the building becomes more stable, healthier environment for its inhabitants. Due to the lack of or bad insulation, many buildings are unnecessarily overheated. Renovation with spray cork is the ideal solution to achieve the perfect internal temperature in your building while minimizing heating costs. Potentially making your house between 5c / 8c warmer.

We believe, absolutely beyond doubt, in the versatility of spray cork in construction.

A variety of finishes can be achieved depending on what particle sizes you require on your project, examples are shown below.

Cork is a fascinating material with excellent acoustic and thermal insulation properties. It’s anti-fungal, and resists rotting; it ‘breathes’, transpiring moisture; it will compress to form a tight gasket (think wine bottles); and it’s sustainable, in fact Europe’s cork production, in Portugal for example, needs our support.

Now it’s been turned into an insulating, breathable, elastic, sustainable render for buildings. Something that’s been missing from both the conservation and the eco-building markets. Magical.
